What is Chinese Reflexology?
|
Part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is the ancient art of healing by working pressure points on the feet, hands and ears. These points correspond to different parts of the body.
Early evidence of Chinese Reflexology dates back to the 2nd century BC, when Dr Yu Fu treated patients without the usual herbs and acupuncture but concentrated solely on massage.

How Does It Work?
|
Following illness, injury or stress vital energy pathways in the body are blocked preventing the body from functioning normally. Chinese ref helps unblock these pathways by ridding the body of toxins and improving circulation and elimination. This restores the body's equilibrium of yin and yang, encourages healing and strengthens the body.

What is The Difference Between Chinese & European Reflexology?
|
Chinese Reflexology involves firmer pressure in sweeping movements on the various points of the feet with stimulating foot cream. The feet are kept warm for improved circulation and the patient drinks warm fluids such as green tea throughtout the session.
Whereas European Reflexology is based on relaxation, it's Chinese counterpart stimulates and energises the patient and is therefore ideal for people who need a physical recharge or whose immune systems need a boost.
Rosanna is the first qualified practitioner in Chinese Reflexology in london.
